Suzhou, Jiangsu, October 2026 - Suzhou Benit Machinery Technology Co., Ltd. has added a new production batch of pull wire sensors to stock, covering OEM references 161455, 2137341 and 04-20-30070. The sensor is the leveling feedback component used on W2000 and W1900 cold milling machines, and it is now available for immediate shipment to road maintenance contractors and equipment distributors worldwide.

On a cold milling machine, the side plate follows the existing road surface while the drum cuts to a preset depth. The pull wire sensor - also known as a string potentiometer or wire rope sensor - continuously converts the vertical travel of that side plate into an electrical signal for the automatic leveling system. When the sensor drifts, the machine over-cuts or leaves high spots, and every millimetre of error turns into wasted asphalt, extra truck cycles and rework on the next paving pass.
That is why contractors in Europe, the Middle East and Southeast Asia keep a spare sensor on the service truck. A sensor failure in the middle of a night shift can stop a whole milling train, and the delay cost is far higher than the part itself.

Sensors are packed individually in foam lined cartons and then consolidated on pallets or in wooden cases, which keeps the wire rope and connector protected during air, rail or sea transport. T/T, L/C at sight, D/P and Western Union are all accepted and negotiable. Buyers shipping to the Middle East and Africa usually choose air freight for urgent breakdowns, while distributors restocking for the season combine the sensor with track pads and screed plates in one sea container to reduce freight cost per unit.
Before the winter maintenance season, check the pull wire for fraying, verify that the sensor body is firmly fixed to the side plate, and confirm that the wire returns smoothly through its full stroke. A sensor that still gives a reading but hesitates at one end of the stroke is usually on its way out, and replacing it during a planned service is far cheaper than a mid-project failure. Keeping one spare on the shelf covers both W2000 and W1900 machines in the same fleet.
Is this sensor new or rebuilt?
A: Every unit in this batch is 100 percent new and bench tested before packing. We do not supply repaired sensors.
Can you confirm the part for my machine?
A: Send the machine model, the OEM number stamped on the old sensor, or a clear photo of the installed part, and our engineer will confirm compatibility before shipment.
Do you supply other spare parts for the same machine?
A: Yes. We manufacture and distribute track pads, screed plates, rubber parts and electronic components for road construction equipment, with more than 15 years of experience in this field.
How fast can you ship?
A: Stock items leave our warehouse in 2-3 days after payment. Air freight reaches most destinations in 5-8 days, sea freight depends on the destination port.
