This heater assembly is the complete rod set for the AB340-3TV ironing board, covering both the 2055043 and 2055045 part numbers used on the screed plate. It is supplied as a repair kit for workshops that rebuild the screed off the machine: rods, ceramic end caps and terminal leads arrive together, so the plate can be reheated and tested on the bench before it goes back onto the paver.

Drain and dry the screed plate before fitting the rods, and check that the rod channels are free of hardened bitumen. Seat each rod fully into its channel, fit new ceramic caps, then measure insulation resistance to earth before switching on. On the first heat-up, bring the plate up slowly and watch for uneven hot spots; a cold section usually means a loose terminal rather than a failed rod.
